After busting todays deepstack, I decided to take a shot playing the nightly. There were about 160 players, paying 18 spots with 1st place being 4k. The starting stack was 7500.
Level 1: 25-50. I didnt play a hand this level and took 7425 to the next.
Level 2: 50-100. I limped 22 UTG +1 and only was against the BB. The flop came KQ3 and he check/called my 100 bet. The turn/river came 3J, we checked, and he showed J9 for the winner. I opened Q8hh UTG to 250 and everyone folded. I took 7025 to the next level.
Level 3: 100-200. The button made it 525 and I 3-bet the BB to 1300 with A7o and he folded. There were 3 limps to my SB and I found AKo and made it 700. All the limpers called and the board ran out to the river on QJ5K2. On the river I bet 200 and got called by 1 of the limpers and my top-top was good. I was up to 9700.
Level 4: 100-200 25. I made it 475 from UTG +1 with AKo and everyone folded. An active player made it 525 from UTG and a spewtard called in MP. I found QJhh in LP and made it 1450 and they both called. The flop came 754, they checked to me, I bet 2000, the raiser folded but the spewtard snap moved all in for 4500 resulting in me folding. I made it 475 from UTG +1 with JJ and everyone folded. I was down to 6750 and we went to the next level.
Level 5: 200-400 50. An aggressive player in EP made it 55 and I found AKo on the button and shipped 6k. He called showing 55 and the board ran out KJ9J7 giving me a pair and winning me the race. A player in EP limped, a player in MP made it 1250, I found TT in the BB and went all in for their effective 4k and 8k and they folded. I was up to 14750.
Level 6: 300-600 50. I made it 1200 in the cutoff with QQ and the button and BB called. I checked the flop of KT3 but when the Q hit the turn, I bet 2150 and they both folded. I made it 1200 in the hijack with 54o and the cutoff made it 3000. He had alot of chips and seemed pretty straightforward/spewy so I decided to just call and take a shot at his stack. The flop came K75, I checked, he made a large bet, and I had to fold. I was down to 13500 and we went to the next level.
Level 7: 400-800 75. I made it 1800 with AJo from MP and the BB called. The flop came J75, he checked, I bet 1600, he moved all in for about 8000 and I called quickly. He showed J9 and the board ran out QK giving me a nice pot. I was up to 22600.
Level 8: 600-1200 100. I made it 2400 from MP with A8o and the intention of calling a short stack shove but the tightest player at the table moved all in for 15k from the button. It was a little too much for me so I folded and he showed KK. I made it 2400 from MP with QJcc with, again, the intention of calling a shove but when a player moved all in for 13k from behind I ended up folding because he looked strong. I probably should have just open jammed my ~15bbs instead of raise folding. I was down to 15000 and we went to the 2nd break.
Level 9: 800-1600 200. 2nd hand after break, I found JTcc in MP and pushed all in. The tight player in LP reshoved and showed the obvious AA, I did not hit, and I busted out in about 40th position. Its sick how these people always wake up with hands.
Not that exicting. . .probably didnt play 100% optimally towards the end but im not too bothered by it and next time I will play better.
