Satellite #20: $130 buy in 2 $570 winners (Venetian) + $20 LL. This was a fairly uneventful satellite. I didnt really pick up too many hands and I stole enough to basically maintain a starting stack. We were 5 handed when we went to 200-400 and I had 1700 in chips. 1st hand of the level, I picked up A9ss on the button and shipped it, the SB reshipped and he showed A8. The board ran out 87673 and I busted in 5th.
Satellite #21: $130 buy in 2 $570 winners (Venetian) + $20 LL. With the blinds at 50-100, a complete donkey shoved all in for 650 UTG +1. I found ATo in the cutoff and figured I was super ahead of his range so I reshipped. He showed 77 and I ended up losing the flip when I didnt pair. I was down to 1200 or so after this. I folded until we were 5 handed at 100-200. I had 900 and a guy with a ton of chips opened to 600. I found AKo in the BB and shoved, he called with T8cc and the board ran out K769x and I was busted out.
Satellite #22. $80 buy in 2 $340 winners (Venetian) + $20 LL. One of the first hands, I completed my SB with a bunch of limpers with Q8hh. The flop came KhTx9h and we checked around. The turn came an 8, I checked, one of the limpers bet 250, another limper called, and I called as well. The river came the 3h completing my flush, I bet out 600, the bettor folded, and the other buy put me all in. I called and he showed 65hh for a lower flush and I was up to 4000 early. Next hand, there were 2 limpers and a MP player made it 275. I found KK on the button and raised to 2500 effectively covering everyone. The 1st limper called for 650 all in and everyone else folded. He showed 66 and I faded his 2 outer and was up to 5000. I lost some chips back when I ended up calling a river bet with KQ on KJ3TQ but lost when he showed J9. I got some back when I opened with A4o to 350 at 75-150, a shortstack went all in for 925, I called, he showed 66, and I binked my A. We were 5 handed when it got to 200-400 and I let myself dwindle down a little bit as we passed chips around and players got knocked out. I decided to chop the LL with the other guy who was still in it so I got $50 for this right here. We went to 3-handed at 300-600 where I was shortstacked vs 1 big stack and 1 medium stack. The medium stack moved all in on the button and I called off my last 2400 from the SB with A5. He showed AQ but the flop contained a 5 for me and I was able to double up. I stole up to 6000 or so and the guy now was down to about 4000. A couple of hands later, he shoved his stack from his SB into my BB and I found A2 and called. He had ATo and this time I was not able to hit my kicker and dropped down to 2000. I pushed my 2000 from the SB into the BB (with all the chips) with K7o and the BB folded. Next hand, I folded my button and the SB (with the chips) put the BB in for about 8k. The BB called off (when I had only 2500 in chips) and showed QQ while the SB showed AK. The board blanked until the river which came a K knocking out the BB in 3rd and giving me a fortunate win. Nice to win when your shortstacked and the 2 bigger stacks decide to play a giant pot :)
After these 3 sattys, my net total is +$1310 for the venetian.
