I started out playing another cash game hoping for more success today. I wrote down a bunch of hands but most were smaller so I will leave those out. For the first 3 hours, this is what happened not once but TWICE. I got up to about $250-$260, bluffed off about $80 and lost a bunch of smaller pots when I failed to hit the flop, got down to $90-$100 and doubled up. My 2 $90-$100 double ups were k9 vs kj on a k9x flop and kk vs qq all in on a flop of low cards.
After my second double back to about $180, I was able to gain more ground thanks to another AA vs (an alleged—he never showed) KK in my favor (I doubled up to around $360). This is the second time ive been set up with aa vs kk which sucks because it just means it will come back around.
After this, I tried to complete the circle as I bluffed off another $80 in an unnecessary fashion but was able to chip up a little before I left, leaving with $315 for a net winning of $115. That’s 3 winning sessions in a row which is really good, and although unlikely to continue, hopefully it keeps up.
By the way, the 3 bluffs I tried were (I swear to God) the only 3 bluffs I tried the whole session. I played the hand to maximum sick-bluffing ability but somehow got snapped off every time. As you will read later, it happened in the tournament 2 times too. What the hell I literally cant bluff right now.
